I've been photographing weddings across Ayrshire and Scotland since 2019 and I still love every single one of them.

At home it's me, my wife, our son, and Fly, our border collie who has absolutely no idea he's a dog.

I didn't get into photography through weddings. I started out shooting landscapes, spending years learning how light works, how to read a scene, how to be patient and wait for the right moment. Eventually I took the leap into weddings and it's one of the best decisions I ever made. Everything I learned from landscape photography feeds directly into how I shoot a wedding day.

I take weddings seriously. Not in a stiff, formal way — more that I genuinely care about getting it right for every couple I work with. I'm always happy to jump on a call in the lead up to the day, even if it's got nothing to do with photography. If I can help, I will.
